Frequently asked questions
Short answers to the questions readers ask us most often. If yours is not here, you can always reach us through the contact page.
Is Dreamary free?
Yes, completely. There is no sign-up, no account, and no paid tier. Every entry is open to everyone. The site may display advertising to cover its costs, but the content itself remains free.
Do dreams predict the future?
No — at least, there is no evidence that they do. Dreams are better understood as reflections of your memories, emotions, and concerns. Our entries treat them as material for self-reflection and as cultural tradition, never as prophecy.
Why do interpretations differ between cultures?
Because dream symbols carry the values and history of the people reading them. A snake can be a warning in one tradition and a sign of coming wealth in another. Rather than declaring one reading correct, we present the major perspectives side by side so you can see the full picture.
Do you store what I read?
Dreamary does not create account-based reading histories or use first-party analytics to build reader profiles. Vercel, our hosting provider, may automatically process technical request data such as an IP address, request time, and requested URL to deliver and secure the site. Advertising is currently disabled. If it is enabled after the required privacy notices and consent platform are published, Google and its partners may process visit data and identifiers according to your privacy choices, as described in our privacy policy.
Can I request a dream topic?
Please do — topic requests are the main way the dictionary grows. Send the dream symbol you searched for to the email on our contact page. We cannot promise every topic, but frequently requested ones are prioritized.
Can I use these interpretations elsewhere?
You are welcome to quote short excerpts with a link back to the page. Republishing entire entries, mass copying, or scraping the site is not allowed. For anything beyond a brief quotation — for example use in an app or publication — write to us first.
